EPA’s Office of Transportation and Air Quality is announcing the availability of funds and soliciting applications from eligible entities to incentivize and accelerate the replacement of existing school buses with clean and Zero Emissions (ZE) school buses. Deadline: 8/22/23.
Clean Investment Fund
To provide funding to local governments to support electric transmission and distribution planning as well as planning activities and programs that help reduce carbon emissions in all sectors of the economy, including the transportation sector and accelerate the use of alternative transportation fuels and vehicle electrification.
Reconnecting Communities & Neighborhoods Grant Program
Combines two grant programs: the Reconnecting Communities Pilot ($198 million) and Neighborhood Access and Equity Program ($3.155 billion). Focuses on projects that connect communities and reduce transportation barriers. Deadline: 9/28/23.
Weatherization Assistance Program Enhancement & Innovation
Aims to expand the impact of DOE's existing residential weatherization programs with deep energy retrofits of low-income residential buildings . DOE seeks proposals that drive innovative approaches to program coordination and service delivery, while fostering the collaboration of dynamic and diverse teams. Concepts due 8/31/23.
Climate Ready Workforce Initiative
To establish programs aimed at placing people across the country into good jobs that advance climate resilience & assisting employers in developing a climate literate, informed by climate resilience workforce. Letter of intent deadline: 9/30/23.
Solar for All
Solar for All will award up to 60 grants to states, territories, Tribal governments, municipalities, and nonprofits to expand the number of low-income and disadvantaged communities primed for residential solar investment. Notice of intent deadline: 7/31/23
